In 1963, Gaomi Electric Appliance Factory was established, laying the foundational manufacturing heritage that would define Sunvim's engineering culture. In 1988, the factory was renamed as Weifang Electric Machinery Factory, expanding its industrial scope.
In 1987, Mr. Sun, then the factory director, left the Gaomi Electric Appliance Factory and established Gaomi Towel Factory — the predecessor of Sunvim Group — planting the seeds of a future industrial conglomerate.
